How it works

As UCLA undergraduate students enroll in their fall, winter and spring courses, they are automatically enrolled in the Bruin One Access program, providing access to their required course materials at the Subscription level. This easily enables students to begin their coursework and evaluate the program. If a student decides the subscription plan, which provides all their required materials, is not a good fit for them, they have two options.

  • They can change their plan and drop into Inclusive Access, which automatically provides the digital titles and provides an option to purchase print titles. From Inclusive Access, they can make individual decisions on a title-by-title basis or chose to opt out and acquire materials on their own.
  • They can opt out of all Bruin One Access offers completely and acquire materials on their own.

Important dates will be posted and communicated by email to each student's official email address on file with the UCLA Registrar.
