WAYS TO SAVE

Our pricing on new textbooks is based on marketplace pricing, in order to give you the best value. In addition, the UCLA Store offers a variety of course materials options. We offer loose-leaf versions, used textbooks, e-books, rental, and custom options to save you money.

We'll match NEW book pricing from another store or commercial online site.
Purchase your textbooks from the UCLA Store Ackerman, the Lu Valle Commons Store, the Health Sciences Store or uclastore.com in order to participate. If you find the same textbook (same ISBN and edition), new condition only, in stock at any local bookstore or commercial website, bring your UCLA Store receipt and verification of the lower price offered, and we'll refund the difference. Online sites must be located in the United States and exclude peer-to-peer, auction, manufacturer, publisher and marketplace sites, such as Amazon Marketplace, eBay, and Half.com. Subject to price verification at time of price match transaction. Customer must present current competitor's ad or printout of online price. Price matching must be completed before the standard refund deadline (Friday of Week 2), in store only. International and instructor editions excluded. Online quotes must be from a business, not an individual, and be in stock. See us for complete details. Does not apply to special offers or promotions, including mail-in offers, rebates, free-with-purchase offers, membership group or club pricing, limited quantity offers, bundled promotions, typographical errors, and special financing.

Look for the e-Book option.
E-Books can save you money over the new textbook price. As we continue to expand our selection of titles, look for the shelf tag in the store or check the digital options online to see if your textbook has an e-Book option. For your convenience, purchase your e-books online.

Buy used and save.
The UCLA Store continues to provide the largest selection of used textbooks with our prices based on marketplace pricing. Look for used textbooks both online and in-store. Shop early as quantities may be limited. Used books are also eligible for Buyback at the end of the quarter.

Save when you rent your textbook.
We are pleased to offer both in-store and online rental books for selected titles. This is the best option for those who want a lower up front cost and do not wish to keep their textbooks, sell books themselves or participate in buyback. Rental books remain property of the UCLA Store or the participating rental partner. UCLA Store rentals must be returned to the textbook services counter at Ackerman Union, Lu Valle Commons or the Health Sciences Store, depending on where you rented them, by close of business on the rental due date. Damage or Non-Return fees may apply. Marking and highlights are allowed but must be kept to a minimum. Rental options are available to those at least 18 years of age, with a credit card valid throughout the rental period. In the event of damages or non-return, the applicable fee will be charged to your credit card, Bruin Bill (BAR) and/or a hold may be placed on your UCLA Records. Please visit the store or check out your course materials listing on our website for a current list of available rental titles.
