Full program details are available here http://shop.uclastore.com/c-833-inclusive-access.aspx.
Requirements of Faculty:
- • Participation automatically enrolls your entire class, ensuring they will have the course material on day one of class.
- • Ensure the UCLA Store Course Materials tool remains active on the navigation panel of your class website (it is automatically enabled when your course website is created)
- • Include a program note in your course syllabus (see the suggested Fall/Winter/Spring and Summer syllabus inserts below)
- • Courseware (if applicable), set up your course within the courseware and coordinate with your publisher’s representative to place any necessary delivery links
- • Make two announcements in your class and/or online during the opt out period to inform students of your use of the Inclusive Access program (UCLA Store sends multiple program emails and posts on our UCLA Store site, Registrar’s Textbook link and our Bruin Learn tool, but that is not enough to reach all students). We are not requesting that you promote Inclusive Access on our behalf, but rather to inform students of the requirements that comes with your adoption of the program. The singular requirement for students is that they opt out by the deadline if they do not wish to participate.
- • Use the course materials during the opt out period. Early use, where possible, increases participation and ensures they see the importance of the materials you selected for them.
- • Direct students to inclusiveaccess@asucla.ucla.edu if they have problems or questions.
- • Email your applicable bookstore contact ackerman@asucla.ucla.edu , gmorales@asucla.ucla.edu or llopez@asucla.ucla.edu if you have any questions or difficulties.
